157. The Murder of Umi Southworth – Part 1
In 2010, Umi Southworth was found brutally assaulted and concealed beneath a box spring in a wooded area behind her Lexington, Kentucky, home. The investigation would become particularly complicated when forensic evidence appeared difficult to reconcile with both the investigative findings and the behavior observed in the case.
In Part 1 of 3, we walk through the timeline, examine the crime scene and physical evidence, and discuss what the scene may tell us about what happened to Umi.
