We begin our analysis of Jeffrey Dahmer by reviewing the timeline of his crimes and the circumstances surrounding each victim. As we walk through the series of murders, we examine the investigative context at the time and discuss several missed opportunities that might have allowed law enforcement to identify Dahmer earlier. Throughout this series, we will examine the case through both behavioral and psychological perspectives to better understand the offender and his crimes. Part 1 of 3.
